Swatch & Review: Wet N Wild Color Icon Blushes

Hello everyone! I want to do more review posts now, so if there's anything in my collection you want a review on, let me know! Here's a link to a video where you can see all my makeup: click here. So without further ado, here is a review on Wet N Wild Color Icon Blushes.

The packaging on these blushes are very big! The fact that they come with crappy brushes makes the packing so much bigger to make room for it. The brushes are flat angled brushes. They are not soft at all and are just really low quality and not good for applying blush. A beginner using these brushes could cause them to mess up applying these blushes as they are EXTREMELY pigmented.

Pearlescent Pink - Heather Silk
The colors are gorgeous. Pearlescent Pink is a color color with gold shimmer. It's a really pretty color and is so so pigmented. Heather Silk is a purpley toned pink and has shimmer. It's less than the other one, but there is still shimmer there.

Heather Silk - Pearlescent Pink

You can see how pigmented these blushes are, it's AMAZING for drugstore quality. Heather Silk is a really nice color for fall and winter because of the purple tone. Pearlescent Pink is a fabulous color for spring and summer because it's brighter. Both colors have a lot of fallout, but with a light hand these are perfect.

What do you think of these blushes?

Swatch & Review: Maybelline Baby Lips

Hey everyone! So sorry for the lack of blog posts lately. I've really been working on uploading a lot of Youtube videos! I'm going to kick off August with a S&R post! I'll be reviewing the Maybelline Baby Lips lip balms. They are lip balms, and some of them are tinted. They all have a different smell/flavor and have SPF 20. They also claim to give your lips 8 hours of moisture.

Grape Vine - Peppermint - Pink Punch
These are what the colors look like, Grape Vine looks like a really dark, intimidating color but it comes off on your lips very sheer and wearable. It's definitely purple, and definitely a fall and winter color. I personally love the smell; it's very atrificial but for some reason I love it! It's really a personal opinion thing because I've heard a lot of people who actually DON'T like the smell. Peppermint is just a clear lip balm.  There is a hint of peppermint in the smell, but it's mostly a sunscreen smell. I really don't like this one for that reason. Pink punch is a really great color except for the fact that it looks really fake. It has a great Barbie pink color payoff and smells again, like artificial pink punch.

Grape Vine - Peppermint - Pink Punch
I really like the packing on these. Maybelline always has great colorful packing to catch a shoppers eye. Each one has a different color combo for the packaging. I like that they are the kind with a giant lid like a lipstick. It makes them feel like much more than a lip balm.

Grape Vine - Peppermint - Pink Punch
Here they are all swatched. Grape Vine is very sheer (left) making it a perfect wearable fall color. Peppermint of course is just clear, perfect for the people who go very natural with their makeup. Pink punch is the most pigmented and probably least wearable even though it is pink. It comes off on my lips with a lilac undertone and I think it's a great spring and summer color.

Overall, I love these as lip colors but not as lip balms. I don't agree with Maybelline that they give 8 hours of moisture, they wear off very quickly and slide off your lips easily. They are about $4.00 at Ulta and Walgreens, and I think that is a good price if you pick a good color. I recommend both of the colored ones but not Peppermint. There are also more colors available that I do not own, there's another clear one, a red one, and a somewhat nude one.

What do you think of these balms? Which one is your favorite?

I GOT THE NAKED PALETTE!

OMG. Ahh I'm so excited I FINALLY got the Urban Decay Naked Palette! The original, not Naked 2.  So This post is going to be on my first impression! :)

The reason I chose the original over Naked 2 is mostly because of the packaging, honestly. I'm a sucker for packaging. It also includes more of their famous colors and since I've never had UD products, this was the best choice. It also included a mini Primer Potion which I was dying to try!

The packaging is so nice, simple, and sleek. I love that it's velvety and closes magnetically. I don't like that the mirror is smaller than Naked 2, but I'll deal obviously. I also love the brush that comes with it because it's really dense and good for packing on color.

Virgin - Sin - Naked - Sidecar - Buck - Half Baked

Smog - Darkhorse - Toasted - Hustle - Creep - Gunmetal

Half Baked - Buck - Sidecar - Naked - Sin - Virgin
Half baked is a really great shimmery gold that I am absolutely in love with! Buck is another one of my favorites because it's a nice medium matte brown. Sidecar is a great lid color that's glittery, I wore it already and there's a lot of fallout with the glitter. Naked is a skin tone matte color, that is either not pigmented at all, or perfect for my skin tone, because I can't see it. So that is one thing I don't like, that I can't see it. Sin is another gorgeous lid color but it could also work as a shimmery highlight. Virgin is a beautiful highlight color! For such a light shade, it's extremely pigmented and great for highlighting.

Gunmetal - Creep - Hustle - Toasted - Darkhorse - Smog
Gunmetal is a really dark, smokey bluey-silver color with shimmer. Creep is another dark smokey and shimmery gray color. Hustle is a really nice shimmery brown perfect for a dark look or for crease colors. Toasted is a pinky champagne color again, a perfect crease color. Darkhorse is very very dark! Great for smokey looks and night looks. Last, is smog. It's a really nice everyday crease color.

So now some naked tutorials will be up on my channel soon! Comment down below a look i should create or colors I should use!

The Many Uses of Glitter: 4th of July Makeup

For easy 4th of July makeup all you need is some glitter! You can use red, white, or blue! I used NYX glitter in blue and applied it as eyeliner. I also sprinkled some in my hair, sticking it on by spraying my hair with hairspray first! You can also apply this to your lips on top of a clear gloss, all over the lid, on your nails by using a clear polish, and much more!

Where do you wear the glitter?
Happy fourth, Kendra

June Favorites!

This month I've been buying makeup, so I have a bunch of new and old favorites!

For makeup, my first favorite is the EOS lip balm in sweet mint. The reason I like this specific flavor over the others is because I feel like it's the only one that actually moisturizes my lips and helps them, the others just seem to sit on my lips and do nothing. Next, is the new Maybelline mascara, Mega Plush. I got this one in waterproof, and it is definitely waterproof! It gives my lashes a very natural summer look, while being lightweight and keeping my lashes from drooping. Then I have an eyeshadow combination. I use the NYX jumbo lip pencil in Strawberry Milk with the gold color in this Clinique quad on top lightly. This makes a rosegold affect which happens to be very trendy for accessories. Last for makeup is the Covergirl Smooth Stick concealer. I feel like this is great for under my eyes, and it matches my skin perfectly. A lot of concealers are too yellow for me, but this one is more pink toned like my natural skin. it also has amazing coverage for under my eyes.
Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat is my nail LIFE SAVER. I have Invisalign, which is similar to braces, but I have to take my retainers out to eat. the problem is that my nails are never dry and they get ruined from attempting to take them out. This top coat dries within 10 seconds, and leaves a beautiful finish. The only thing, is that it smells absolutely HORRIBLE. It's like ten times stronger than a normal nail polish! It's worth it though for the fast dry though. I also recently got some nail dotting tools from eBay. I got 5 double ended tools for about $1.60 on eBay and free shipping! I love going to eBay for certain, things, never for makeup though! Just for tools. The tools really help for making stunning nail designs. Also, Bath & Body Works is having their semi-annual sale! I've gone twice, and found two amazing scents. The first one is Wild Apple Daffodil, which smells like apples and flowers, hence the name! It is very summery and fun! The other one is Peach Sparkle. It smells just like a real peach mixed with a classic perfume smell. Again, very fruity, fun, and perfect for summer!
That concludes my June favorites!
What have you been loving this month?

Swatch & Review: Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush

One of my favorite blushes is the Maybelline Dream Bouncy blushes. They're so fun to touch and so... different! A lot of people really don't like these because they aren't very pigmented, but I disagree. I only have two shades, Pink Frosting and Hot Tamale, and they are pretty pigmented. Maybe some of the other colors aren't. Both of them give off a really natural look. On the top is Hot Tamale and the bottom is Pink Frosting

You can see how much darker Hot Tamale is, and it's more rosy and red. I really like this one because it looks the most natural in my opinion. Pink Frosting is a lot lighter and just a pretty classic pink. It's also more sheer, making it still natural. I don't think these have the best staying power but they're pretty good! They last for about half the day.

The formula of the blushes is weird, it's not a cream nor is it a powder. It's kind of like a mousse texture. The packaging is very simple and sleek, I haven't had any problems with it yet. I would definitely recommend these blushes, but probably towards people with lighter skin. They can be pretty sheer but they're also buildable.

What do you think of these blushes?

TOMS Review

My friend Scarlett, (Click here to see her blog), did a review on TOMS. I thought that was a really great idea and wanted to do a review as well.

I have three pairs of TOMS, a classic black, which I've had since last August, a classic red, which I've had since last October, and Turquoise Crochet which I've had since around April. I actually used to think TOMS were hideous, but now I can't believe I ever thought that! I wear these with pretty much everything!
A lot of people have problems with sizing. Let me start off by saying, my normal size is a size 8. When I went to Nordstrom to buy the black ones, they made me try a 7.5 and said they would stretch. I didn't listen and got the 8. It's been about 9 months now, and they are stretched out, but not longways, sideways! Which isn't something I could control by what size I got. However, a 7.5 probably would've fit a little better. I also wore and still wear the black ones a lot, probably at least 2-3 times a week!

Then for my birthday I asked for red ones because that was our basketball team's color, so I wanted to wear them to games. I got an 8 in these too, but I only wear them about half the amount I wear the black and they aren't stretched much and are perfect size. I really think the size you get depends on how often you're going to wear them!

Then a girl at my school had the turquoise crochet TOMS, and I loved them! The turquoise is a Nordstrom exclusive color, as is fuchsia. I read lots of reviews on these to make sure I got the right size, and almost everyone said to go half a size smaller. I was ordering online because they were sold out in stores so I wanted to make the right decision. I got them in 7.5 and to this day they fit perfectly!

By the pictures, you can probably tell my black ones are starting to get dirty and gray in some areas. But that is because I've used the life out of them! The red and crochet ones are still as good as new! Also, each pair comes with a little cinch sack, which you can see in the first picture, and a TOMS sticker. Some of my friends like to use their bag to carry their lunches to school, and I like to use mine as a room decoration. You could do anything you want with the stickers!

TOMS also claims to have a one for one program, where they give a pair of TOMS to people in need when you buy a pair. I don't know anything really about that though.

Overall I would definitely recommend that anyone buy TOMS and go a half size smaller. Don't forget to see The Trendy Chick's review! And let me know if you want any more reviews on certain beauty and fashion items!

I'm a Bad Girl....

I'm so bad. I bought makeup before being done with project pan. I COULDN'T HELP MYSELF OKAY? I bought 5 things from Walgreens and decided to do a mini blog haul!

Starting with the most exciting part- the new Maybelline Mega Plush mascara! I've only tried this once so far but telling by the first use, it compares to my Clinique Lash Doubling mascara which I adore. It separates my lashes well and defines them. It doesn't make my lashes thick, so don't buy this if that's what you're going for. It's great for lengthening, separating, and darkening. I got mine waterproof because I needed a waterproof mascara for summer and it does well holding up against water! on your lashes it's so lightweight you can't feel it going on your lashes. I love this one so far and I hope it stays that way. I also got two sinful colors nail polishes, one in 'Innocent' and one in 'Cinderella'. I thought innocent would be a pretty spring green. but it's one of those 'gross' colors, like yellowy greeny brown. Um.. ew? It's very trendy though and will end up being a good autumn polish. Cinderella was named perfectly, the color reminds me so much of her! It's light blue like her dress, with iridescent purple shimmers. It's sheer though, but you can build it up. Last, I got two Wet N Wild Color Icon pencil eyeliners. One is Sky Blue and the other is Turquoise. Both of the colors are really pretty and pigmented but they smudge and wear off easily. But hey, that's what you get for 99 cents! I love wearing them on my waterline. They're also really long and have a ton of product so they'll last a longggg time.
Left: Sky Blue Right: Turquoise

What have you hauled lately?

Project Pan Update

I thought I'd update you on my project pan! My goals were to use 10 makeup products, 5 BBW products, 2 nail products, 2 skincare products, and 1 hair care product, equaling 20 products in the end. Makeup is surprisingly SO hard to use up! I haven't used up any yet! I've finished almost everything else, I have only 2 more BBW items and 10 makeup items left. I'm also keeping track of extras from each category to cancel out makeup items. For example, if I use 6 BBW products I only need to use 9 makeup products! That is definitely going to help.
It has been so hard to stop buying makeup! I'm so so so excited to go shopping again, I have a list forming of things I need to buy so expect a summer makeup haul on my YouTube soon!

Just updating.

May Favorites!

Sorry for not posting lately! I'm going to start blogging at least every other day this month starting today! I'm going to start with my May favorites!

So, since I'm on Project Pan, I've rediscovered some products I love!
For makeup, I've been loving my Revlon Lip Butter in Sugar Frosting. I've never used up a lip product in my life, and it's almost gone! You can add that to my project pan list. I actually have a blogpost review on Revlon Lip Butters. Click here to see the post! Sugar Frosting smells like candy and is pretty moisturizing. The only complaint I have is that they melt very easily. Next I've been loving to put eyeliner on my waterline. I just started doing that recently sometimes I switch which color I use whether it's white or black. For the fun summer months, I like white better because it isn't noticeable when it runs. It also makes your eyes look bigger and brighter! I've been using the Essence eyeliner pencil in the white shade. Another product I've rediscovered is the Covergirl Smoothstick concealer. My other concealer was to orange to put under my eyes, so I tried this again and I really like the results! It covers up undereye circles pretty well, but not so much blemishes. I have another concealer for that though. Last for makeup is a forever favorite, the Clinique Lash Doubling mascara. It just has such amazing separation and makes my lashes look extremely long.

Now for other beauty products, I've been loving two Bath & Body Works scents in Charmed Life and Country Chic. Charmed Life is a classic perfume smell, and Country Chic is the same with more floral in it. They are both really fun for summer! The Clinique Clarifying Lotion has made my skin better than ever, and I desperately need to repurchase it since I'm all out. I really recommend it and you can get it for whatever skin type you are! For nails, I love Wet N Wild 'Sparked' on my toes! I have been continuously painting my toes that color because the sparkles are really fun for summer. It's basically a pink and silver glitter polish. I also love painting my nails just, pink. Normal pink. So girly and bright and fun for summer!

And last, some random favorites!
Food: Cheese & Garlic Croutons
Song(s): Call Me Maybe & Part of Me
App: I'd Cap That / Face Juggler

7 Different Summer Eye Looks & Video Preview!

Hey everyone! I'm going to film a video entry for SparklieBarbieXO's contest soon! I was playing around with some ideas and decided to do a look for every day of the week! The problem is, the video has to be under THREE MINUTES. I'm going to show you the seven looks and your job is to comment them in order that you like them, so in case I can't fit them all in one video, I can use your favorites and hope they're Kacey's favorites too. Here we go! None of the looks I'm showing have the full eyeliner and mascara affect, so I'm going to list it the descriptions.

This look I call 'Sunset Skyline'. It has light yellow and gold on the lid with orangey colors and pink in the crease. I would do black eyeliner on my upper lash line and white eyeliner on my waterline with black mascara. This one was inspired by sunsets!

I named this look "Deep Ocean Waves' because it has deep colors that are blue like the ocean. My lids have a light blue and my crease is a blend of tons of different blues and purples. I also took the crease colors to my lower lash line. I would add black eyeliner on my upper lash line and waterline, with mascara. This look was inspired by the ocean of course!

This look is called 'Bronze Goddess'. It is a  wash of shimmery shadows. The lid includes gold with light yellow to emphasize the center of my lid, and bronze and browns in my crease. I would do brown shimmery eyeliner on my upper lashline and waterline with mascara!!!

This one is called 'Poolside Blues'. The color of pool water always seems to be bright blue, so I used a Tiffany blue on my lid and crease lightly blended all the way to my browbone. I highlighted the center of my lid with white. I would line my lashline with black and waterline with black.

This one is inspired by 'Pink Lemonade'. This one is an inverted eye look, meaning it's backwards. the darkest color is on my inner corner and the lightest is on the outside! It's an ombre look, which is on trend and the whole thing is lightly blended with mascara and white eyeliner on my waterline.

This one has to be my favorite. It's called 'Fresh Cut Grass' and it's an ombre eyeliner look, which is again. on trend. The lightest green is on my inner corner of my lash lines, and it gets darker as you go out. I only used shadow on my upper and lower lashlines, not on my lid! No eyeliner for this, just mascara!

Sorry for weird lighting in this one, but it's called 'Natural Summer Glow' All I used was clear mascara. That's IT! You can't always wear makeup, let your natural beauty show and summer is the perfect time to do it.

So I want you to comment the names of these looks in the order you like them in the comments!
What are your favorites?
xoxo, Kendra

Thirteen Thursday: 13 Summer Makeup Tips

Summer is right around the corner, and in some places summer weather is already happening! That's not the case for me, but for my readers, here are thirteen summer makeup tips.

1. Use sunscreen. You should use this year round, but especially in the summer. You can still get your long awaited tan with sunscreen!
2. Use tinted moisturizer instead of foundation. Tinted moisturizer will give you some coverage, but without it being too heavy. It's great to get one with SPF to protect your skin from the sun, then you don't need to also use sunscreen. Just less products! I honestly prefer to go more natural in the summer and I only use concealer for face products.
3. Use a face primer. If you're still going to wear face makeup, you should use a primer to keep the makeup from sliding off your face, this is especially important if you have oily skin because it will come off even easier.
4. Use a setting spray. A popular setting spray among the beauty community is the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray. I haven't tried this one, but it is a favorite for a lot of people. This, again, is to keep makeup in place and keep it from sliding off your face.
5. Use eyeshadow primer. Obviously, this is to keep your eye makeup from coming off or creasing throughout those long summer days. Some favorites are UD Primer Potion, Too Faced Shadow Insurance, and NYX HD eye primer.
6. Buy a good waterproof mascara. They are definitely harder to remove, but it will be worth it to keep your mascara from running all over your face. You could even skip eyeshadow all together and just make your lashes fabulous, and you'll still have a completed look!
7. You don't neeeeeeed blush in the summer. Being out in the sun will give you a natural glow anyway! But if you are going to use one, cream is the way to go.
8. Use bronzer. Bronzer will give you a sunkissed glow, and a slimming effect when you use it on the edges of your face (contouring, temples, etc,) and make sure you blend it down your neck if you use it all over your face!
9. Use a lip stain. A lip stain will stay on longer because of course, it's a stain. You don't want to be constantly reapplying lip gloss or lip stick throughout the day! This brings me to my next tip....
10. Use a lip balm with SPF. The lip stain will dry out your lips, and a lip balm will add a beautiful shine and moisture to your lips. Get one with SPF to be even better!
11. Avoid using oily products. Even if you don't have oily skin, you will tend to be more oily in the summer. Use as many oil free products as you can find!
12. Bring blotting papers wherever you go. When you're sweating, you want to make sure you get that off your face to stay fresh and clean!
13. Remember that summer is for fun! Go crazy with your makeup, wear bright colors, do what YOU want because it's YOUR face and YOUR summer!

Share your summer makeup tips with other readers in the comments!

Coastal Scents 88 Original Palette Review & Swatches

I'm sure you've heard of the Coastal Scents 88 palettes, there are so many different color selections you can buy and I have found the PERFECT palette. Of course, every product has its flaws, so I'll be going through everything you need to know about this palette.

Here are all the colors! The first 2 columns and the last 2 columns include lots of wearable shades that include both mattes and shimmers. There are a lot of beautiful highlight shades, skin tone shades, and a great gold I love! These are a lot smaller than I was expecting, I was thinking they would be the size of a quarter or a nickel, but they're dime size. Now that I have it, I think that's a perfect size. The packaging is very simple and sleek. A lot of people have problems with the pans falling out of their spots after a year or two, but I've only had this for 4 months. I love wetting an eyeliner brush and dipping it in a bright color so I can transform them into the now popular,

color eyeliner. This way you don't have to go out and spend hundreds of dollars on different colored eyeliners. The quality of the shadows really varies from color to color. Some are extremely sheer, like the yellow, some greens, and some of the nude shades. Some are very pigmented too! The dark ones are really great. A lot of them have fallout as well, the red definitely has a problem with that, as well as the gold that I use a lot. This palette also includes a nice matte black, which is great, but it's not very black. It's swatched in the picture with the neutral colors, it's the darkest one you see there. I feel like this is a great palette to have because you have every color you could possibly need. They aren't as great of quality as Urban Decay, MAC, or other high end brands, but I feel like it's worth it rather than buying every color of the rainbow for $20 a shadow, when you get all of these for the same price. You can definitely buy some high end shadows in colors that you wear a lot, but again, this is great for doing other peoples' makeup and for costume makeup. I love that it comes with matte and shimmer, but in equal amounts. Most palettes will include a few matte shades, but almost all shimmer. This one has at least 1/3 matte colors which is great. In the color swatches, you can see how pigmented a lot of the colors are. I recommend buying the palette off of Amazon.com because in my experience, the shipping took only a few days. I don't know how long Coastal Scents takes to ship, but I do know Amazon is great. I paid 19.95 for my palette + shipping, and I am very happy with it. I use it all the time and it's great for tutorials because a lot of people own this or at least know what I'm talking about.

Okay, I feel like I've been really repetitive during this review, but overall I would rate it 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Project Pan!

I'm 13. And I have a lot of makeup.

Yes, I've realized I need to actually use some of this makeup before I buy more than I'll ever use, so I'm starting project pan! This is project 20 pan for me, but I'm not just doing makeup, so I'll get into it!

Project pan is when you stop buying makeup until you use up x amount of makeup (or in my case, other products). Project pan is to learn to use what you have and to not waste your money, because let's get honest, some of this is never going to be used up.

Goals:
10 makeup products
5 Bath and Body Works products
2 Skincare products
2 Nail polishes
1 Hair care product

Since makeup is the mainly what project pan is about, I am using mostly makeup products. I'm also a B&BW HOARDER I have an insanely excessive amount, so I really need to use some! (Comment if you want a B&BW collection!) My mom has also commented on how many skincare products I have, so why not add 2 of them to my goal? I also hoard nail polish, but nail polish I find is like impossible to use up! So I'm only adding 2 to my list, even though I have about 100. And last, I don't have many haircare products, but some that I don't use a lot and are just taking up space. So just one of those are on my list, and that's it! My goal is to complete this by summer (mid June for me), just in time to buy summer products once I'm finished!

I hope you join project pan with me!

April Favorites!

I'm going to start off with the more random favorites! So first, is my turquoise crochet Toms. They are super comfy and super cute! They can add a fun pop of color to any look, the only thing  is that they're hard to get ahold of! very popular right now. Next is my Aussie Instant Freeze hairspray. I use Aussie products because they're inexpensive, and this hairspray is actually great! For cheerleading, we have to hairspray down our fly-aways and this does a great job. My favorite jewelry piece for this month is a knockoff Pandora bracelet, in case you don't know, Pandora bracelets are like charm bracelets, except with beads. Mine only has 5 charms at the moment, but I definetely plan on buying more. Last is a new toothpaste I'm trying, which is Crest 3D White. I just got Invisalign recently, and I'm trying a whitening toothpaste. Comment if you want a post all about Invisalign!

I always have Bath & Body Works favorites, so here they are for this month! I have two sprays, the first one is in Country Chic, which smells like 'classic perfume smell'. I just really like it because it smells like a perfume but it's light. Next is the Sweet Pea smell, I didn't even know sweet pea was a flower for the longest time! I really love floral scents and this one is light, girly, and floral for spring! I've also really enjoyed using body butter this month, and I use the one in Warm Vanilla Sugar. I use it on my legs and feet and it's extremely moisturizing and smells like Christmas! Last is a product I've never tried before, it's one of the Bath & Body Works Supercharged Body Scrubs. So basically it's just an exfoliator. I use this every few days in the shower, and it helps to get off all your dead skin and makes for a cleaner shave.

Sorry the picture isn't the best quality for the makeup category, but my first product is the Maybelline Fit Me concealer. They really don't have a great selection of shades, but if you can find one that works, they have great coverage when I blend it with a brush! Next is a new purchase this month, the Ulta Salon Formula Nail Laquer in Flamingo. I get so caught up in buying fun nail colors, I really don't have a nice pink. This one is fun for spring and summer. Another new purchase that everyone has raved about is the Nivea Kiss of Smoothness lip balm! I wouldn't say it's especially amazing, but it's nice! I really like the smell of it, and it has SPF. My favorite blush is a NYX cream blush in Glow. I've had this for a few months, but I stopped using it when I liked powder blushes better. Now I like cream blush again, and it's a really natural and easy to blend color. My last favorite is a mascara that I have a love-hate relationship with. It's the Maybelline Great Lash Lots of Lashes mascara, with the cone shaped wand. I LOVED this when I first bought it because it had a nice wet formula and no clumps. After a few weeks, it got really clumpy and I stopped using it. I tried it again and I really like it again! With two or three coats, you could make it look like false lashes even! It still is a little clumpy, but I just use an eyebrow comb to brush out the clumps.

What are you loving this month??

How to get Softer Lips!

Hey everyone! I was just exfoliating my lips and decided to do a blog post on how I 'take care' of my lips. It's fairly simple!

1. Start off my exfoliating your lips. You could buy one from a store, such as Lush's bubblegum lip scrub. You could also make one at home using sugar and honey! To go even simpler, use an electric toothbrush. I personally use a toothbrush because it's easiest. Make sure you don't brush your lips for more than 30 seconds or it will only make your lips raw. This removes all the dead skin! I also found that it adds a lot of color to your lips, that you don't even need a lip color some days.

2. LIP BALM LIP BALM LIP BALM. I use three different ones after I exfoliate. They're Nivea Kiss of Smoothness, Baby Lips in Peppermint, and EOS Sweet Mint. Then I blend them all in with my clean finger.

That's it! But here's a few extra lip tips for you:

*DONT lick your lips if they're chapped. It may feel better for a minute, but it will make it worse in the end.
*Drink plenty of water!
*Get a lip balm with SPF to prevent sunburned lips!

What are your lip tips?

OOTW: April 23-27

Hi everyone! I decided to start doing Oufit of the Week sometimes, so here's my first one!
The first day I wore a T shirt (which I covered up personal info) and some dark wash denim capris. I also wore sandals and these two cheap plastic bead necklaces (one black and one white). My nails had little flowers on them in different colors.
On Tuesday, I wore a neon yellow shirt from VS Pink, which is a loose fitting crewneck, and some jeans. The belt is from old navy and I wore black TOMS. My hair was part curled, by that I mean some of the top sections were curled and the rest was left all naturalll.
Wednesday was my lazy day and I wore a sweatshirt (which I covered up info on) and some Arizona skinny jeans tucked into chestnut colored Uggs. For hair, it was left straightened.
On Thursday I wore a blue tank top from Old Navy with a long white cardigan my mom made. I tied together with a belt from Kohls. I wore jeans again with Uggs and my hair was second day straight with a baby pouf.
Today (Friday) I wore a blue/white Love Pink crop top with a white tank underneath. I wore jeans and blue crochet TOMS. My nails were painted a gorgeous pink, and my bracelets were just various blue and silver bracelets with a rusty silver rose ring from Forever 21

What did you wear this week?

TAG: 10 Little Secrets

Hey everyone! I know I just did a tag, but this is another one that is popular on YouTube right now and I wanted to get it up. It's the 10 little secrets tag!

1. What is one product that makes you feel like a million dollars?
My Clinique Lash Doubling Mascara! It is the perfect mascara, it doesn't clump, it's very black, and it lengthens. Mascara 101 post coming soon! (It may already be up)

2. What is your skincare secret / a passed down skin care tip
Always use clean brushes and wash your hands before applying makeup because odds are there will be a point when you touch your face. This is especially important for oily skinned girls like me!

3. Share your hair care secret
Part your hair on the opposite side you normally do to add volume! Since your hair is used to laying flat the 'normal' way, flipping it over will add volume. It's also an easy way to change up your hair look

4. What is your biggest diet rule?
I don't really have a rule, but I personally 'don't like' soda. Here comes a story. When I was 5, I accidentally tasted soda when I got the wrong drink at a restaurant and I HATED it. Since it's bad for you, I just never tasted it again so I won't get addicted. So if there's a food that's really bad for you that you've never tried, just don't try it in the first place!

5. Any workout tips?
Working out with a friend can be a billion times more fun than doing it by yourself. If you live in an okay area, just go for a walk. That's what I do! Also, to get motivated. Say, every __ miles you run, you can buy a new nail polish.

6. Which perfume is your secret weapon?
I don't wear perfume, just those Bath & Body Works body sprays. The one everyone seems to enjoy most is Vanilla Bean Noel. Bad memory: I keep a mini size in my gym locker, and after PE I used it one day and in my next class my teacher was saying "Ooooh it smells like cake in here who is it?" and the whole class said the same thing... I never admitted it was me.

7. Show us a clothing item that always turns heads
My NEONNNN yellow shirt from VS Pink always does the trick, it's in the picture below but it's so not true to color.

8. What is your most treasured piece of jewelry?
My opal necklace. It has a very dainty chain and a tiny pendant, also in the picture below on the mannequin. I love that it's very small.

9. Who is your style crush?
Stilababe09 on youtube, I love almost all of her clothes, but I know I could never pull them off!

10. Tell us something we don't know about you
I am so horribly afraid to be home alone. One time our neighbors got robbed, now I can't even think of what would happen if someone came in if I were home alone.

Will you do this TAG? Leave a link below.
